Surprisingly, the harbour area is great for both lifestyle and landscape photography.
There isn’t much bird diversity in the harbour itself. Gulls – pacific and silver – are a constant, seeking the fish remains that are discarded. There is usually 3-4 black faced cormorants and the occasional crested terns.
Sometimes you will get hooded plovers. I find the birding is best walking outside of the harbour but it can be nice to combine hobbies.
